I liked the older part of the Mansion, the grounds and the staff.
Long walk to our room.

Old time elegance.
Too many stairs and levels to get to room.
This is an elegant old mansion that offers great views on the North Coast of LI. It was exceptional for the amount of stars that you had to climb in order to get to your room.

For a 2 night stay likely to have to change rooms.
I always stay here for Thanksgiving when I am visiting. I think it would be a beautiful setting for a wedding. Beautiful mansion and grounds.

No refrigerator in room.
We enjoyed the setting and uniqueness of the mansion. We did not however get to see a spirit the surrounding grounds are beautiful and well manicured. We did not have time to use the pool and other amenities. The room was clean and comfortable, with a safe but no refrigerator. We would stay at glen cove again. ...read more

Beautiful gardens.
The magnetic keys would lose their code and you have to go get another one. Troublesome.
This hotel seem to be a the spot for weddings in the area. Beautiful gardens and fountains.
